Rolling Thunder Raceway Track Rules as Follows:  (Please note any rule change/decision made at the track over-rides
any printed or published rule you will find here).

 

These rules and policies are set to provide a guideline as to the minimum requirement
expected of teams and participants in 2010.  Each driver and crew is required to read
and comply with these rules and policies and have conduct themselves in an orderly manor.

 

These rules are a guideline for the sport and in no way guarantee anyone against injury
or death to any participant, spectator, or official.  The race director shall have power to
permit minor deviation from any of the specifications herein imposed and in the race director’s
opinion do not alter minimum acceptable requirements.

 

By participating in race events, all participants acknowledge that racing is a dangerous sport
that could result in serious injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official.  And the
participants agree with all track conditions, safety considerations, is solely their responsibility.

 

  1. Raceivers will by mandatory for ALL CLASSES starting July 9, 2010.

  2. NO sheetmetal will be pulled by track official. You will be advised of it and it will be up to you if you wan to keep racing or go to the PITS.

  3. IF you go off the track you will go to the rear of the field.

  4. If you have a Flat Tire you will have (1) Minute to change it after you get to your Pit. We will be timing you!

  5. Do not speed through the Pits or the staging area any car doing this will be dealt with through Disqualification, fines, or suspension.

  6. All participants understand that it is…..NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
    SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM THESE RULES AND BEING IN COMPLIANCE WITH
    THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
     

  7. No driver, car owner, or mechanic shall have any claim for damages, expenses, or
    otherwise against the track or any of its officials.

     

  8. Drivers, car owners, mechanics, and anyone else entering the pit must be at least
    12 years of age.
     

  9. Everyone in the pits is required to have a wristband purchased the night of the event.
     

  10. Drivers and car owners assume all responsibility for their pit crews in every respect. 
    The driver is responsible for the action of his or her crew and may be disqualified, fined,
    or suspended.  Any crewman or driver that causes a disturbance in a pit other than his
    or her own is considered at fault.
     

  11. Any abusive or profane language or obscene gestures from anyone will result in a
    $100.00 fine and or suspension.

     

  12. The track may refuse to accept any entry of any car, car owner, driver, or crewmember.
     

  13. Anyone receiving injuries at the track must report it to a track official before leaving the racetrack.
     

  14. The decision of the track officials on the interpretation of the rules, scoring, flagging, and race
    procedures will be final.
     

  15. After the race cars enter the track the flagman is in COMPLETE control, and their decision will
    be upheld.
     

  16. All drivers are responsible for being familiar with all flag rules. 
     

  17. In the event two cars cross the finish line at the same time the car closest to the infield will get
    the position.
     

  18. No car can receive assistance from another car on the last lap.
     

  19. No working on cars on the track at anytime.  You will get penalized one lap.
     

  20. All cars will be staged in the designated staging area, if not staged in the proper time cars
    will be penalized.
     

  21. Drivers may not move up or down a division without track approval.
     

  22. Cars may only race in one division on regular race nights
     

  23. Anyone found to have weapons, alcoholic beverages, or drugs will be made to leave the race
    track and be subject to suspension and or fines.  If a crewmember or driver is involved, the team
    will be loaded up and will leave the race track.
     

  24. There will be no arguing with track officials, fines or suspension may result. 
     

  25. No glass bottles on track property.
